How to Add Android App Shortcuts to Kodi Homescreen
Ok... So my Minix Neo x8-H Plus is an android device and as such gives me the use of google play to download apps. Up until recently I have been using these apps while in the Minix's User Interface before entering KODI:
I use 3-4 apps regularly and found it annoying to have to close out of KODI to use them. Then re-enter Kodi to have them play in the background (ie. Deezer and Spotify).
The following tutorial by MJD showed me how to add my apps to the KODI menu bar so I no longer have to leave kodi to use them. I have added Deezer and Spotify into the Music sub directory and created an internet tab on my KODI menu bar with Google Search, Google Chrome, Gmail, Facebook and Twitter in the sub directory.
Now you too can add your android apps to your KODI menu bar:
